Ven. Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche
Venerable Drupon Rinchen Dorjee Rinpoche is the spiritual director of Austin Ratna Shri and Chicago Ratna Shri Dharma Centers. Drupon Rinpoche resides in Chicago at Chicago Ratna Shri Dharma Center and is the Retreat Master for 3 year retreatants and the Garchen Buddhist Center in Chino Valley, Arizona. Rinpoche travels and teaches at centers around the world and is especially present in Chicago, GBI, and Austin.
Drupon la has completed over 9 years of retreat, 6 years of retreat in holy Lapchi Nepal where Milarepa loved to meditate. Drupon Rinpoche is an extrodinary practitioner and guru, unlike others in this day and age. He is a master of mahamudra meditation and a qualified and exemplary lama of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage. Sent by His Holiness the Chetsang Rinpoche to be the lama at Chicago Ratna Shri, he has been a true guide for sincere dharma students in the West. We are truly blessed to have encountered Ven. Drupon Rinpoche and have him as our Guru.
